We’ve organised and delivered the “Noble Gift” for Christmas to Renata and her son Bartosz.

Renata was a healthy person, she raised her son Bartosz with her husband. The moment that changed the life of the family was the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. This disease caused a significant disability and made it difficult to walk and perform basic activities. Another difficult change that took place this year was a divorce from her husband who had an alcohol problem. Renata and her son had to move out and start life anew. Both illness and divorce had a negative impact on Bartosz’s life, who struggles with ADHD. Now they live in a small rented apartment. Renata is unable to work due to her illness, which is why it is very hard for her to provide for her family. Their income consists only of allowances and alimony amounting to a total of PLN 2 900. After deducting the costs of PLN 1,700 for housing and treatment, the family is left with only PLN 592 (~130 EUR) per person. Three Key Family Needs 1. Food: Providing basic groceries will relieve the family budget and facilitate shopping, which is not easy due to Renata’s health condition. 2. Footwear: After moving out, Bartosz’s mother tries to make sure that he has all the missing clothes and shoes. The boy needs shoes for the coming winter, however, Renata’s funds are limited. 3. Laptop: Renata dreams of providing her son with a laptop that Bartosz needs to develop his passion for computer science so that he can have a better start in the future. Unfortunately, the budget does not allow her to buy it. The laptop can be used in good condition.
