We cordially welcome Marta, a PhD student in Dr. Lucia Fernandez group at CNIO, for a three-month internship in the Brain Diseases Center. Marta is working on CAR T cells as a treatment for pediatric malignant tumours. In Gdańsk, she will test whether the CAR T cells or exosomes released by them cross the BBB and how the cells or exosomes affect the BBB. Marta received a travel grant from BraYn Association for this internship. Congratulations Marta!
