BraYn Conference 2024

Our team recently attended the BraYn Conference in Verona. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with fellow neuroscientists and present our latest research. Fionä took on a leading role, chairing a session on inflammation, while Ola and Fionä showcased our work through poster presentations.

One of the highlights was an inspiring talk by Nobel laureate Martin Chalfie—his insights were truly remarkable. It was also a pleasure to catch up with some familiar faces, including Maria Velasco-Estevez, Sinead O’Sullivan, and Marta Ibañez.

In a rare moment of success, we even managed to capture a picture of Fionä smiling—though anyone who knows her well knows how elusive that is, as she typically keeps her face perfectly straight in photos!
