Ola chaired a session at Nuclear Medicine Conference on 30.05.2025, titled:
“Nuclear Medicine – from Molecular Imaging to Clinical Application.”
The session focused on the role of nuclear imaging in studying neurodegenerative diseases and included:
Prof. Grzegorz Węgrzyn: Animal models of neurodegenerative diseases – the role of nuclear imaging in in vivo detection of disease biomarkers
Dr med. Bogna Brockhuis (MUG): Neurodegenerative diseases in humans – why molecular imaging is gaining importance? (recorded lecture)
MSc. Izabela Suwda-Kalita: Perspectives on preclinical molecular imaging research at the Radiopharmacy Centre, Medical University of Białystok
Ola guided the discussion on how nuclear techniques can enhance our understanding of both experimental models and clinical presentations of neurodegeneration.
