A new project is taking shape in the lab! 🧠

Ola, together with Prof. Maria Mazurkiewicz-Bełdzińska and Dr Marta Zawadzka, has received funding and support through the Inkubator Rozwoju programme to investigate how blood–brain barrier dysfunction may contribute to cognitive impairment in epilepsy.

The team will investigate what happens at the blood–brain barrier in epilepsy and whether these mechanisms could be therapeutically targeted.

The research is carried out within the Inkubator Rozwoju, as part of the Science4Business project in partnership with the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
