On 8 September 2026, Ola joined the ACE²-EU Grants Academy at the Medical University of Gdańsk as an invited mentor, delivering a session titled “From Curiosity to Opportunity: Building a Scientific Career Through Persistence.” Drawing on her own scientific journey, she shared insights into overcoming setbacks, securing research funding, building international collaborations, and turning unexpected opportunities into career milestones. The workshop brought together researchers from across Europe to exchange experiences and support the next generation of scientists.
